Academic-Based Musical License Agreement

The purchaser is granted a non-transferable, single-site license to use the purchased musical package within one school, program, organization, homeschool, or educational site.

This license permits the purchaser to:

• Use the materials with enrolled students at the licensed site.
• Print copies needed for educational instruction and rehearsals.
• Provide script copies to participating students and families for rehearsal and home practice purposes.
• Conduct rehearsals and performances using the included script and music.
• Present up to two public performances per purchased license.

A new license must be purchased for future productions beyond the two permitted performances.

The license includes access to the purchased musical package, which may contain:

• Full Script
• Original Vocal Tracks
• Original Instrumental Tracks
• Production & Curriculum Companion
• Standards-Aligned Resources
• Production Planning Materials
• Supporting Educational Resources

All materials remain the intellectual property of Mary Resenbeck.

License holders may:

• Use the materials for classroom instruction.
• Use the materials in homeschool programs.
• Use the materials in enrichment programs.
• Use the materials in after-school programs.
• Use the materials in private schools, charter schools, and educational organizations operating under the licensed site.
• Provide script copies to participating students and families for educational and rehearsal purposes.
• Adapt casting assignments to meet the needs of participating students.

The purchaser may not:

• Share, distribute, or transfer digital files to other teachers, schools, organizations, or educational sites.
• Share purchased materials with colleagues for use in separate classrooms, programs, campuses, or productions.
• Upload the script, curriculum, music, or resources to public websites.
• Post downloadable copies online.
• Resell any portion of the materials.
• Claim ownership of the script, music, curriculum, or production resources.
• Alter copyright notices or author credits.
• Use the materials for additional schools, campuses, classrooms, productions, or sites without obtaining additional licensing.

Performances may be photographed or recorded for educational, promotional, and family viewing purposes.

Recordings may be shared privately with participating families and educational communities.

The script, music files, curriculum materials, and production resources may not be distributed separately from the performance recording.

Commercial distribution of recordings is prohibited without written permission from Mary Resenbeck.

All performances and programs must include the following credit:

The title of the musical and author credit must remain visible in programs, promotional materials, and performance acknowledgments.

Schools, charter organizations, educational networks, and districts wishing to use the materials across multiple campuses, schools, classrooms, teachers, programs, or sites must obtain a separate School or District License.
